Hammers for days. I have been looking for the actual version of this part online for sometime now. i bought the video when it first came out and lost it 3 days later. Heath Kirchart is a very odd guy, and an amazing skateboarder. if any of you kids are too young to really know about Heath's career i highly suggest you invest some time in youtube in the near future. start with one of the best skate parts ever right HERE.
without further ado, Heath's curtains part from mindfield.

Tuesday Tuneday #8

Girls, guns, driving the open road, American flags, and Johnny Walker. Sounds good don't it? Okay.... to some it might not. But, you need to know that some of the greatest music comes from these things. In the 1950's rock music came a rockin' round the corner with big names Elvis Presley, Little Richard, Bo Diddley and Jerry Lee Lewis all hailing from the Deep South. Then, in the mid 60's the British Invasion came rushing to the number one charts along with psychedelic rock. This was the new rock music coming out of London, Liverpool, NYC, LA, and San Francisco. After all that, in the late 60's, groups like CCR (California) and The Band (Canada) found interest in southern rock roots and reinvented the wheel.
In the 1970's Southern Rock really hit big. Bands such as The Allman Brothers Band, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Charlie Daniels Band, ZZ Top, .38 Special, The Black Crowes, Molly Hatchet, and many more. If it wasn't for the life of guns, broke white skin lifestyle, Whiskey, trucks, dirt and chicks, well, we might not have all the great music we have today. (Not to mention ALOT of the best blues music came from the south too!) Here are some of my favorite southern rock songs.

Ethan is featured in Transworld's top 5 tricks of 2009. i think his official trick is listed as "outta nowhere rail skills" and they think he's regular not goofy. which means they can't tell either way, which i suppose is a good thing.
either way, click on his ugly mug to see what other tricks made the top 5.

SHOP WARS 2009 BITCHES!!!
i had the wonderful oppertunity to join the Lake Effect Posse for SHOP WARS at Wild Mtn, the team consisted of Morgan, TJ, Sean, Alex, Patty, and myself. We won the first round, strickly by executing great style with a variety of grabs and aerial manuevers. Then we were robbed in the semifinals due to our lack of commitment to extreme competeive snowboarding, but all in all it was a fun time, and we won the award for best time had. Tuesday Tuneday #7
This Tuesday I bring you death!!! Well, not really, but if you don't know about the famous "27 club" then know this. Some of the greatest musicians in time shared death in one particular way, and thats the age they died at. The most popular names I hear are Janis Joplin, from Big Brother & The Holding Company, who died from a heroin overdose; and Jimi Hendrix, from The Jimi Hendrix Experience, who died from choking on his own vomit after an overdose of sleeping pills.
A few others you may not have known are Jim Morrison, from The Doors, who died from heart failure; (although no autopsy was performed) Kurt Cobain, from Nirvana, who died by shooting himself with a shotgun; Brian Jones, Rolling Stones founder, and guitarist, who died by drowning in a swimming pool.
The first musician recorded to the "27 club" was one of the greatest blues players of all time, Robert Johnson, a very influential bluesman, (you can here the style and technics ALOT in Keith Richards and Eric Claptons music) who died from strychnine poisoning.
Here are 5 samples from each of the following.
